Customize FollowUp.cc Reminder Emails

I am always amazed to see the great ways users put FollowUp.cc to work. All types of users are on the system, from students to CEO’s. That is why we have made it easy to customize FollowUp.cc – here are a few tips on getting your system settings just right.

“Can I change the snooze bar format?”

Yes, there are 4 different snooze formats or you can opt for no snooze options in your email. Navigate to the settings page and find “Snooze bar size.”

Once you chose an option, you will see a preview of the format.

“I want to be able to use my reminder email to send it to the recipient. Can I remove the Snooze formatting?”

If you want to use your reminders to email to someone, take off the snooze options and add “replies.” For your snooze option select “none” as your format.

On the settings page, click the option for “Replies”. This will allow you to hit reply to any reminder and it will go back to the original recipient(s).

Now your reminder will come back to you as a normal email that you can use again.

“I do not want individual emails for my reminders; I just want a daily summary.”

Navigate to the setting page and uncheck the box that says “Send me an email when a reminder is due”.

Then next make sure your Daily Summary Emails are turned on. This option is also on the settings page.image

That is it. Now you will only get an email at the start of your day.

“I just want to see reminders on my calendar.”

Follow the directions above to turn off your reminder emails. You will also want to turn off the Summary email on your settings page. If you are getting confirmation emails, turn those off too (unless you want confirmations).

Then navigate to the AddOn’s page and find you calendar feed. Enter your calendar feed into your calendar system – click for directions for entering your calendar on Google, Apple or Outlook.
